Description

Hobby Liquizell starter food is a liquid starter food for Artemia nauplii. It is used for feeding nauplii from the 3rd day of life. As the mandibles (chewing tools) of the young animals are still underdeveloped, food intake is only possible to a very limited extent. Hobby Liquizell contains phytoplankton, which is "atomised" in a special process. However, it is not atomised as the name of the process implies, but very finely crushed. This allows the plankton to be ingested by the tiny mouth of the nauplii. Hobby Liquizell is fed for 8 - 10 days after hatching, after which a changeover to Mikrozell Artemia food.
Invertebrates can also be fed with Liquizell starter food.

Features

  • Wholesome rearing food for Artemia nauplii
  • Applicable about 2 - 3 days after hatching
  • Contains very fine phytoplankton
  • Can be applied directly, without mixing
  • For natural rearing

Application

Feeding should take place from the 3rd day of life.
The bottle must be shaken well before use. In this way, sediments are completely dissolved and a homogeneous liquid concentration is created. Add only as many drops until the water has a slightly greenish tint. For example, this corresponds to about 20 drops for 5 l of Artemia rearing medium.

Note

Only when the turbidity of the water has been completely consumed by the animals should liquids be added again. The development of Artemia crayfish progresses quite slowly in the first two weeks. Especially in the early stages, the nauplii are susceptible to bacteria.Excessive bacterial growth is often caused by overfeeding or too high temperatures.
