Description
Der Aqua Rebell Skimmer Glass Small sorgt für eine glasklare Wasseroberfläche. Kahmhaut wird zuverlässig beseitigt. Er ist aus sehr hochwertigem Borosilikat-Glas in Laborqualität hergestellt und eigenet sich durch seine relativ geringe Eintauchtiefe auch für kleinere Aquarien. Jeder Skimmer wird mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl und Kunstfertigkeit handgeblasen und aus diesem Grund ein Unikat.
Der Schwimmkörper sowie der die Einheit zur Einstellung des Verhältnisses zwischen Oberflächenabzug und Ansaugung im unteren Bereich sind aus hochtransparentem und langlebigem Acrylglas gefertigt.

Reinigung
Wenn sich Algen auf der Glasware breit machen, wird es Zeit, die Glasware zu reinigen. Die Reinigung ist nicht schwierig, sollte aber gewissenhaft durchgeführt werden. Die Glasware wird danach wieder wie neu erstrahlen.
- Man benötigt haushaltsüblichen Chlorreiniger (Hygienereiniger) ohne Duftstoffe. Beim Arbeiten mit Chlorbleiche unbedingt die Vorsichtsmaßnahmen des Herstellers beachten.
- Ein Teil des Chlorreinigers wird in ein Gefäß gegeben und mit 50% Wasser gemischt. Von der Lösung sollte so viel vorliegen, dass man die Glasware darin komplett eintauchen kann
- Die Glasware in der Lösung 1-4 Stunden (je nach Verschmutzung) einwirken lassen
- Die Glasware herausnehmen und gründliche abspülen
- Nun sollte aller Schmutz beseitigt sein und die Glasware wieder in neuem Glanz erstrahlen

Im using this on a 45-P tank with a JBL e702 and it does its job perfectly. You have to adjust it from the bottom valve just a little bit to get a stable skimming flow.
This skimmer inlet has the same problem every other one I tried: with a powerful enough filter (in my case, an oase biomaster thermo 600) the bottom inlet holes are not wide... (read more)
