Description
This set from Micorobe-Lift contains two bacteria preparations for care of freshwater and marine aquariums, Special Blend and Nite-Out II. Special Blend contains bacterial cultures that reduce ammonium and nitrite and break down protein compounds. Nite-Out II contains the nitrifying bacterial cultures, namely Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira and Nitrobacter. These biologically degrade ammonium/ammonia and nitrite in the presence of oxygen and prevent an accumulation of these toxic nitrogen compounds in the aquarium. The application is particularly suitable in case of a new start of an aquarium or after a water change.
The combined use of Special Blend and Nite-Out II provides a stable biological cycle in marine and freshwater aquariums, naturally breaking down organic waste such as fish excretions as well as food and plant debris.

Application
Special Blend
As a starting dosage, initially add 25 ml per 100 litres of water directly to the tank. Proceed with a weekly dosage of 15 ml per 100 litres of water over a period of 4 weeks.
For long-term maintenance, 7.5 ml per 100 litres of water is applied every two weeks.
For best results, Special Blend should be dosed directly into the tank during the light phase. The solution should only be stored in the original bottle to preserve its effectiveness.
Nite-Out II
When setting up a new aquarium, a daily dosage of 10 ml per 100 litres of aquarium water is applied until neither ammonium nor ammonia or nitrite are measurable.
Apply 10 ml to 100 litres of aquarium water with each water change. The same dosage is recommended when new fish are added to the aquarium.
The bottle should be stored in the refrigerator at 4 -7 °C after opening.
Note
During the application of Special Blend and Nite-Out II, water purification systems with ozone and UV light should be switched off for 12 - 24 h, as these can kill the bacteria from the preparations.
During the application, carbonate hardness (KH) should be kept at a sufficient level and the pH value of the water should be checked regularly.
Special Blend has a certain sulphur smell which, however, vanishes right after dosage.
