Description
The EHEIM skim 350 is a micro- surface scum skimmer for smaller aquariums up to 350 l. Simple, quick and flexible to use. In almost any aquarium a film of microorganisms, dust, oils and food fats forms over time – the so-called surface scum. With the EHEIM skim350 surface skimmer, you can efficiently eliminate this scum and have a glass-clear water surface and high oxygenation. The EHEIM skim350, although designed for constant use is also suitable for short term use.
The EHEIM skim 350 has a power consumption of only 5W. It is fixed to the pane via suction cups.

- The device must never be operated outside of water.
- Repairs must only be carried out by an EHEIM service centre.
- The power cord of this device cannot be replaced. If damaged, the device must be discarded.
- All electrical aquarium devices should be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of no more than 30 mA.
- Immediately disconnect all aquarium devices from the mains in the event of leakage or if the RCD is triggered.
- Always disconnect all aquarium devices from the mains when not in use, before installing or removing parts, and before any cleaning or maintenance.
- Protect the socket and power plug from moisture and wetness. Always form a drip loop with the power cord to prevent water from running down the cable into the socket and causing a short circuit.
- The electrical data of the device must match the supply voltage. You can find this information on the nameplate, the packaging, or in the manual.
Handling notes:
- Perform a visual inspection before use to ensure the device, especially the power cable and plug, is undamaged.
- Only perform the tasks described in the manual.
- Never make technical modifications to the device.
- Use only original spare parts and accessories for the device.

After trimming some carpet plants the small roots went everywhere, and it was impossible to net them out. This skimmer made my tank crystal clear again. (read more)
