Description
This stem plant from tropical Africa develops quite narrow, 2-6 cm long leaves. In the submerged form they develop a brown-red to almost orange red colour. Characteristically the leaf margins are rolled downward. This species grows and propagates faster than Ammannia gracilis.
Nutrient-rich substrate and good lighting are recommendable. This Ammannia is best placed as group in the midground or background or as "dutch street".
