Description
Pinguicula 'Niklas' is a hybrid variety created by crossing Pinguicula agnata and Pinguicula moranensis. This carnivorous plant has fleshy, sticky leaves that catch small insects and use them as a nutrient source. Pinguicula 'Niklas' prefers bright, indirect light but can also tolerate partial direct sunlight. It thrives best at temperatures between 20 °C and 25 °C and a humidity of 50% to 80%. The plant requires regular watering with distilled water to keep the substrate moist.
Pinguicula 'Niklas' is excellent for various types of terrariums, including humid terrariums, tropical terrariums, and plant terrariums. With a compact rosette size of 10 to 15 cm, it is ideal for small to medium-sized terrariums. The violet or purple flowers grow on long, slender stems and add an attractive touch to the terrarium. The carnivorous properties of the plant contribute to natural pest control by catching small insects. Pinguicula 'Niklas' is easy to care for, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts.
