Description

The Cubito aquariums from ME Aquaristic meet the highest quality standards in terms of glass, cutting and bevelling. The manufacturing of the glass as well as the production of tanks takes place in Europe. This means that the production routes are as short as possible.

The nano formats of the Me Cubito aquariums make them an ideal introduction to the world of aquaristics. However, larger formats up to 180 x 60 x 60 cm are also available. The light transmission of the glass used is at a very high level and does not fall below the 90 percent mark even with a thickness of 15 mm.
For comparison:
Normal window glass usually has a light transmission of approx. 70 - 80 %.
The transmission index is used to determine the transmission quality of glass and indicates what percentage of the visible light spectrum (380 - 750 nm) is reflected by the glass, how much is absorbed and what percentage of the light passes through the glass.

The colour rendering transmission index for the Me Cubito aquariums is 99,6 for the smaller tanks and even large aquariums, with thick glass, can meet the highest quality demands with a value of 98,7. A colour rendering transmission index of 90 or more for glass is considered very high quality. The Me Cubito aquariums therefore hardly distort the colours of the light shining through them.

Regardless of the layout, the Me Cubitos provide an ideal basis for saltwater aquariums, freshwater scapes, a shrimp tank or even a breeding tank.
