Description
The Juwel Bioflow Filtersystems are characterised by their particularly large filter volume, which provides plenty of space for excellent mechanical, chemical and biological filtration. The Juwel Bioflow Super is the ideal solution for tanks up to 150 - especially beginner aquariums.
The great volume and its sepcial bipolar current principle enable long service life and long maintenance intervals. Due to the intelligent construction of the filter housing, easy access to pump and heater (not included in the scope of delivery) are provided. Moreover, the use of special filter trays makes the extraction of filter media for cleansing very easy. In the filter, the so called bipolar current principle is utilised, which cares for two different flow rates in the filter chamber.
The faster flow around the coarsly cleansing mechanical and chemical filter area is helpful to gain a strong filtering performance. The slightly slower flow rate around the lower parts of the filter chamber allow useful bacteria to settle and proceed with the biological filtering.
The filter comes equipped with 5 different filter media and offers sufficient internal space for the appropriate Juwel AquaHeat Automatic-Heater to be upgraded with.

Maintenance
Juwel Filter media should be changed regularly in order to regain their funktionality. It is advisable to follow these intervals:
- BioPad: 1x per week
- BioCarb: 1x in 3-4 weeks
- Nitrax: 1x every 8 Weeks
- BioPlus coarse/bioPlus fine: 1x every 3-9 months
It is recommended to exchange the impeller, axis and rubber axle holders once in 12 months to retain the highly effective perfomance of the filter.
