Description
JBL Detoxol is a product for the immediate detoxification of aquarium water with precarious ammonia and nitrite levels.
Ammonia and nitrite are pure toxins for aquarium fish, but as a rule the aquarium ecosystem and the corresponding filter should be able to keep the values within a tolerable range. However, medication, excessive feeding and/or too many fish can severely disrupt this biological balance and promote the production of toxins in alarming concentrations. Quick action is needed here! By adding JBL Detoxol, toxins are safely and quickly neutralized within 10 minutes!
Other water conditioners such as JBL Biotopol also neutralize chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals, but cannot neutralize toxic nitrogen compounds such as ammonia and nitrite. Although bacterial preparations such as JBL Denitrol can also remove ammonium/ammonia and nitrite, they do so in a purely biological way by breaking down bacteria. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen within 10 minutes, but takes several hours to days. The JBL Denitrol conditioner is meant for keeping your aquarium functional for a long time - JBL Detoxol, on the other hand, is a fast-acting, immediate countermeasure.

Application
As an immediate measure, add 10 ml JBL Detoxol to 40 l water to bind up to 30 mg ammonium and 2 mg chlorine per 10 ml. If inadvertently too much Detoxol is used, up to four times of the recommended dosage is safe.
