The leaves of the Horse chestnut, also known as conker or buckeye, provide a good alternation in the diet of shrimps. They are popular with all hobbyists who like to add natural products to the feed. Moreover, they decompose only slowly. Such leaf types should be present in each aquarium as hiding places.
