Description
The Grässlin rondomatic 400 automatic feeder provides living creatures in an aquarium with individualised food.
28 feeding bowls arranged in a circle allow individual feedings to be carried out daily for up to four weeks during holidays or to adapt the daily feedings to the biorhythm of the fish.
The feeding chambers can be put directly into the dishwasher for cleaning.
There are two different options for attaching the automatic feeder to a standard aquarium.
The rondomatic 400 can stand on its own and therefore be placed on a flat aquarium cover so that the point of the feeding bowl ring where the respective bowl tilts downwards comes out above the feeding flap in the cover. If there is no feed flap, the cover can simply be held open a sufficient distance.
The automatic feeder can be attached to open aquariums using the mounting bracket and screw included in the scope of delivery so that it stands horizontally above the water.
Feeding can be controlled via the central timer. The enclosed switch tabs are pressed in according to the desired feeding times. Each switch tab triggers a feeding process, i.e. if 3 filling volumes are to be fed daily, 3 switch tabs must be pressed in accordingly.However, the shortest interval between two feedings is two hours.
This ensures regular feeding and the aquarium inhabitants are supplied at their usual times even when you are absent.

Note
To prevent the feeder from sticking, the manufacturer recommends an installation distance of 10 cm from the water surface or aquarium cover.
