A very nice, often heavily rugged rock which is perfectly suitable for aquascaping, also because if its grey-brown base colour. With their rugged exterior they can easily be combined to make larger formations.
If there is no additional information provided, we will always put together a balanced collection of different stone sizes.
If you have specific ideas about your layout, just contact us via email (email@example.com) before placing your order and tell us your ideas. Please attach a sketch or photo of an existing layout to your email so we can use it as a template. We will then put together the matching stones for your project and tell you the total weight, so that you can place your order via the webshop.

I bought 20 kg of these stones. I had previously bought these from another internet shop so I had an idea what to expect, the stones were awesome but I didn't order enough. When I received the ones from Aquasabi I was a bit disappointed, because some of the stones were very oddly shaped and not rugged at all, they looked just like the rocks I picked up at a local construction site after they blow up the land so the rocks there are very sharp cornered and the sides are smooth. I also got 2 small random pieces that are not even the same type of rock as the others, the Frodo stones are expensive stones so I would not order them again without seeing the pieces first.

I bought a small quantity (4kg) for use in a nano tank and as a test before possibly buying more for a larger layout. I received one large, mostly brick-like (rectangular) piece with a very nice pattern along with some smaller stones and even some very small pieces (to get to the correct weight I suppose) which can be used for some nice details in layout making.
All were packaged individually in paper so as not to damage the stones during shipment.
Would recommend, they have their price but it is worth it as they have a lot of character (more than seiryu/minilandschaft rock if you ask me) and I will definitely buy more in the future for another project.

Living outside of Germany it is very hard to find this type of stone. I was pleasantly surprised by Aquasabi that they do offer them. At first I was a bit reluctant to and have them shipped abroad because returning would - cost efficiently wise - not be an option. However, the Aquasabi team was splendidly helpful! They aquascaped with these stones in accordance with my ideas, sent pictures of the layout for my approval, and shipped exactly those stones. Success guaranteed!
Also I was surprised by the decent packaging. All stones were individually wrapped in protective paper and then packed in a strong box.
The stones themselves are beatiful and have a strong natural look and feel to them. I'm excited to start scaping soon.
5 stars for the stones and 5 stars for the great service!
