Description
The Fluval AquaClear Bio-Foam is a high-quality filter insert that combines mechanical and biological filtration in one element. Thanks to its 30 PPI structure (pores per inch), the blue foam reliably removes coarse to fine dirt particles from the water and thus contributes to mechanical cleaning. At the same time, the open-pored surface provides ideal conditions for the colonisation of nitrifying bacteria, which break down organic pollutants and thus stabilise the water quality in the long term. Thanks to the precise moulding, a seamless fit in the filter housing is ensured, ensuring efficient and even filtration. The material is suitable for use in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. To ensure optimum filter performance, we recommend replacing the filter insert every two months.
