Description

The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e is an innovative aquarium heater that takes temperature control to a new level. With its integrated WLAN function, it enables precise control and monitoring via smartphone, tablet or PC/MAC. The desired temperature can be set exactly within a range of 18 to 32 °C, and thanks to the control accuracy of ± 0.5 °C, the temperature is kept constant. However, if there are deviations of ± 2 °C, you will automatically receive an e-mail notification.

The heater also offers smart synchronisation with other devices in the EHEIM.digital family, such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LEDcontrol+. This allows you to make automated temperature adjustments according to filter activity or lighting. The special laboratory glass ensures high resistance and the waterproof design (IPX8) guarantees safe use as long as the heater is immersed up to the mark. With four size options, the thermocontrol+ e is suitable for aquariums from 200 to 1000 litres, in both freshwater and saltwater environments.

Warning notes:

Do not allow the packaging or small parts to come into the hands of children or persons unaware of their actions – risk of suffocation! Keep away from animals.
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless they are supervised or instructed.
Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must only be carried out under supervision.
Never place a hot device on heat-sensitive surfaces!
Do not use the device if the power cable is damaged – dispose of the device.

General notes:

Only perform tasks described in the manual. Do not make any technical modifications to the device.
Use only original spare parts and accessories for the device.
Repairs may only be carried out by EHEIM service centres.
The electrical data of the device must match the specifications of the power supply (see nameplate or manual).

Handling notes:

Before use, perform a visual inspection to ensure the device, especially the power cable and plug, is undamaged. Ensure the glass body has no cracks or fractures.
Before operation, the device must be submerged in water at least up to the "MIN. WATER LEVEL" mark. Never operate it outside of water.
After unplugging, leave the device in the water for at least 30 minutes to cool down.
Always disconnect all devices in the aquarium from the mains when not in use or before cleaning and maintenance work.
Protect plug and socket from moisture. Always form a drip loop with the power cable to prevent water from reaching the socket.
We recommend using a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA for all electrical aquarium devices.
