Description
The EHEIM Backpack Filter Liberty are uncomplicated and at the same time variable backpack filters with an exceptional circulation performance. The variably adjustable intake tube can directly influence the flow behaviour by means of the immersion depth.
The filters are simply hung on the aquarium pane and transport the filtered water back into the aquarium via silent water slides. Using the red rotary knob, the pump output can be regulated steplessly. There are 3 models available for aquariums ranging from 75 to 200 litres. All filters are already equipped with filter media and ready for use immediately.

- The device contains a magnet with a strong magnetic field, which may interfere with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators (ICD). Keep a minimum distance of 30 cm between implant and magnet.
General notes:
- Check the device, especially the power cord and plug, for damage before use.
- The pump must not run dry. Operating temperature range from +4°C to max. +35°C. The motor is protected against overheating.
Handling notes:
- Repairs must only be carried out by an EHEIM service centre.
- The power cable of this device cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged, the device must be discarded.
- Use only original spare parts and accessories for this device.
- The device should be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of no more than 30 mA. In case of questions or issues, consult a qualified electrician.
- Immediately disconnect all aquarium devices from the mains in case of water leakage or if the RCD trips.
- Always disconnect all aquarium devices from the mains when not in use, before installing or removing parts, and before any cleaning or maintenance work.
- Protect the socket and plug from moisture. It is recommended to form a drip loop with the power cable to prevent any water running along the cable from reaching the socket and causing a short circuit.
