Description

Begonia foliosa originates from the tropical regions of Central and South America, where it grows as part of the undergrowth. This shrubby begonia, densely covered with many small leaves, is suitable for shaded to semi-shaded areas in terrariums. It thrives in temperatures between 18 and 24°C and humidity levels of 60-80%, making it ideal for tropical terrariums.

The plant is characterised by its small, glossy, lance-shaped leaves and fine branching. Its delicate white-pink flowers appear year-round. Begonia foliosa integrates well into larger terrariums, requiring little space while providing interesting structure and colour accents. It is a low-maintenance option that visually enhances tropical terrariums.
