Description

The cultures of Nite-Out II contain live nitrifiers to eliminate the toxic effects of ammonium/ammonia and nitrite in the aquarium. This biologically reduces the start-up phase of an aquarium to a minimum. In combination with ML/Special Blend, Nite-Out II provides a natural, safe, and fast start-up solution for new aquariums.

The nitrifying bacteria in Nite-Out II include strains of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira, and Nitrobacter. Nitrosomonas oxidise ammonium/ammonia to nitrite, and Nitrobacter and Nitrospira oxidise nitrite to nitrate.
Recommended for use with all ARKA products.
After opening, the product should be stored in the refrigerator.

Note

New Formula:
The number of living bacterial cultures in the bottle has been significantly increased. Therefore, the nutrient solution, which produces a slightly sulphurous smell, also had to be increased. The colour is now slightly yellowish to brownish.
After opening, the product should be stored in the refrigerator.

Application

New Aquariums:
Dose one teaspoon (5 ml) per 40 litres every other day until nitrite and ammonium/ammonia levels are acceptable.

Maintenance and Care:
Dose one teaspoon (5 ml) per 40 litres when performing a water change or introducing new animals.

Product safety

Warning notes:

In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with running water for several minutes.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not drink!

General notes:

This product is suitable for all ornamental fish, corals, and lower animals.
Do not use on animals intended for food production.
