APT j/Jazz from 2HR Aquarist are root fertiliser capsules for planted aquariums.
They consist of round baked clay pellets mixed with a blend of inorganic mineral salts and provide the plants with nutrients for 2 months.
Potassium, phosphate, nitrogen salts and chelated trace elements are integrated into the clay matrix and slowly diffuse out of the clay when immersed in water, acting directly on the roots.
- Root fertiliser for strong plant growth
- With long-term effect
- Capsules are placed directly under the plants in the substrate
The capsule is inserted at least 3 cm deep directly under the root area of the plant to be supplied.
1 capsule per 4 x 4 cm plant mass is sufficient. 2 hours after transplanting / adding APT Jazz, a water change should be done. This removes excess detritus and avoids algae formation.

The 2HR Aquarist is a young company with its roots in Singapore. The founders around the passionate aquascaper Dennis Wong, all aquaristic enthusiasts themselves, see aquascaping as a mixture of art and research. The development of the products, therefore, corresponds to a scientific approach in which empirical tests are used to create foundations and facts. The innovative APT fertilizer series from The 2HR Aquarist covers the most common scenarios that can arise in aquascaping and places healthy plants and balance in the aquarium in prospect.
