Description

The Stone Sets Bumblebee Boulder by WIO consist of a combination of various rounded river stones in a warm sandy tone. Their natural ochre-yellow colour with rich warm hues and veined surface texture makes them ideal for creating a harmonious aquascape or terrascape. For a balanced colour concept, Bumblebee Boulders can be combined with gravels and sands such as Bumblebee, El Dorado or Tigris.

Erosion and weathering have transformed what was once a rough and angular surface into a rounded, almost smooth texture over time. Despite this, Bumblebee Boulders retain their unique structure and character. The sand-coloured stone features a wide range of shades, from light sand to dark ochre. Each boulder is a unique natural example of colour variation.

The stone may slightly increase pH and water hardness, but regular water changes are sufficient to keep this under control. Each set always includes stones of different sizes along with smaller fragments to create visually appealing landscapes with depth.

Note

These stone sets are untreated natural products. They can be used in both aquariums and terrariums. It is recommended to clean the stones before use and rinse them under running water. This helps remove fine dust particles that could otherwise cause cloudiness when setting up an aquarium. Small residues of moss or lichen cannot be completely ruled out.
The sets are pre-packed before reaching Aquasabi and cannot be opened or modified.

General information:

Calcareous stones may increase pH and KH levels in the water. Especially in soft water or sensitive aquariums, regularly check pH and KH values.
Rinse thoroughly before use and place slowly into the aquarium. Fine mechanical filtration may be necessary for 24 to 48 hours to remove dust and cloudiness.
Stones should be positioned directly on the tank base or on a foam mat before adding substrate. Avoid point loads. When stacking, use glue or aquarium putty for stability.
Do not throw stones. Place carefully to avoid damage or injury. Keep away from children and pets.
Store dry and in the original packaging. Avoid breakage during transport. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Handling instructions:

Preparation: Rinse stones thoroughly with clean water. Do not use cleaning agents.
Placement: Position on a stable surface. If necessary, wedge or secure with suitable adhesive. Then add substrate.
Filling the aquarium: Pour water slowly over a plate or plastic sheet to avoid disturbing the layout.
Monitoring: Regularly measure pH and KH values during the first weeks, especially when using calcareous stones or in aquariums with soft water.
