Description

WIO Wild Red Lava Stone is an attractive igneous rock and an ideal addition to any aquarium or terrarium. It is formed from volcanic lava that has been shaped and structured over time. The result is a distinctive porous texture, a deep reddish colour and a strongly structured, rough surface.

Thanks to its porous nature and highly rugged surface, Wild Red Lava Stone provides ideal conditions for the growth of epiphytic plants and mosses.

In addition to its functional benefits, Wild Red Lava Stone is also a visually striking decorative element. Its deep red colour and porous texture create a natural and earthy appearance, making it perfect for designing nature-inspired aquariums.

WIO Wild Red Lava Stone creates an excellent contrast with green plants and can also be perfectly combined with wood to achieve a natural look.

Wild Red Lava is an inert rock that does not affect water hardness and is safe for sensitive aquarium animals and plants.

Note

These stone sets are untreated natural products. They can be used in both aquariums and terrariums. It is recommended to clean the stones before use and rinse them under running water. This helps remove fine dust particles that could otherwise cause cloudiness when setting up an aquarium. Small residues of moss or lichen cannot be completely ruled out.
The sets are pre-packed before reaching Aquasabi and cannot be opened or modified.

Product Safety

Risk of mechanical injury if dropped. Handle with care.
Dust may temporarily irritate eyes and skin. Avoid contact and rinse with water if necessary.
Small fragments may be swallowed by children or pets. Keep out of reach.

General information:

Calcareous stones may increase pH and KH levels in the water. Especially in soft water or sensitive aquariums, regularly check pH and KH values.
Rinse thoroughly before use and place slowly into the aquarium. Fine mechanical filtration may be necessary for 24 to 48 hours to remove dust and cloudiness.
Stones should be positioned directly on the tank base or on a foam mat before adding substrate. Avoid point loads. When stacking, use glue or aquarium putty for stability.
Do not throw stones. Place carefully to avoid damage or injury. Keep away from children and pets.
Store dry and in the original packaging. Avoid breakage during transport. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Handling instructions:

Preparation: Rinse stones thoroughly with clean water. Do not use cleaning agents.
Placement: Position on a stable surface. If necessary, wedge or secure with suitable adhesive. Then add substrate.
Filling the aquarium: Pour water slowly over a plate or plastic sheet to avoid disturbing the layout.
Monitoring: Regularly measure pH and KH values during the first weeks, especially when using calcareous stones or in aquariums with soft water.
