Canyon River Sand aus der WIOdecor-Sands Serie vom Hersteller WIO besteht aus gemischtfarbigen Sandkörnern und erzeugt orangene bis hellbraune Farbakzente. Die Körnung ist leicht variabel und liegt zwischen 0,1 - 4 mm.
Durch die natürliche Farbe wirkt diese Art Sand auf eine besondere Weise sehr ästhetisch. Mit diesem Sand lassen sich zahlreiche Farbakzente im Aquarium setzten, Pfade gestalten oder Flussläufe kreiren.

Das Scape lässt sich mit reinem Canyon River Sand als Bodengrund einrichten, er eignet sich aber durch die natürlichen Farbnuancen besonders gut als Dekorationssand.

Sand ist zumeist ein passiver Bodengrund, welcher keine Nährstoffe für die Aquarienpflanzen bereitstellt. Deshalb kann bei der Einrichtung mit Sand als alleinigem Substrat, die Nutzung von Bodengrunddünger durchaus empfehlenswert sein. Mittels Düngekugeln oder -tabletten können gezielt Stellen im Aquarium mit Nährstoffen angereichert werden, sodass vor allem stark wurzelzehrende Pflanzen wie Cryptocorynen davon profitieren können.

Warning notes:

This product is intended solely for use in aquariums and terrariums. Do not use for any other purpose.
Improper or negligent use may result in property damage, injury to persons or animals, or harm to aquatic or terrestrial ecosystems.
Fine dust particles may be present during initial handling. Rinse thoroughly before use.
Some sand grains may have sharp edges. Handle with care.
The weight of the sand can damage fragile tanks if poured carelessly.
Do not ingest. Keep away from mouth and eyes. In case of accidental ingestion or contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Keep out of reach of children. Adult supervision is required when children are handling or near the product.

General notes:

This product is composed of natural materials. Variations in colour, shape, size, and weight are inherent.
When used as directed, this product is inert and should not significantly alter water parameters. Regular monitoring of water parameters is still recommended.

Handling notes:

Rinse thoroughly with potable water before use to remove dust or particles. Follow rinsing methods appropriate for your aquarium/terrarium setup.
Spread the sand gently within the aquarium or terrarium to avoid scratching glass or acrylic surfaces.
Exercise particular care with acrylic tanks, which are more susceptible to scratches.
Avoid forceful pouring or dropping onto hard surfaces.
Do not throw or misuse this product. Never throw it towards people, animals, or fragile objects.
Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
Dispose of packaging and unused sand responsibly in accordance with local regulations. Do not release sand or rinse water into natural watercourses or the environment outside the intended use.
