Description

Druid Gravel from the manufacturer WIO is a natural river gravel in a dark grey. Dieser Kies eigenet sich besonders gut zur Effektsetzung in Aquascapes und Biotopaquarien. In nassem Zustand wirken seine glatten Oberflächen sehr ansehnlich in Kombination mit Pflanzen. Different sizes in the mix give a very natural effect - ideal for riverbed landscapes.
Druid Gravel passt perfekt zum Druid Stone und den Druid Boulders.

Gravel is usually a passive substrate that does not provide nutrients for the aquarium plants. Deshalb kann bei der Einrichtung mit Kies als alleinigem Substrat, die Nutzung von Bodengrunddünger durchaus empfehlenswert sein. Fertiliser balls or tablets can be used to enrich specific parts of the aquarium with nutrients, so that especially plants with strong roots, such as cryptocorynes, can benefit from this.

Note

All WIOdecor gravel types are pre-washed. However, the manufacturer recommends briefly rinsing the gravel with cold water before use to wash off any abrasion caused by transport. This also prevents grains of sand from floating up when filling the aquarium.
