Description
UNS Controsand Pacifica is a natural aquarium sand for freshwater aquariums with a particularly fine grain size, specially developed for modern aquascapes. The characteristic burgundy-red to reddish-brown colouration gives the aquarium a bold yet natural look. This creates striking contrasts with green plants, light-coloured stones or dark hardscape.
Thanks to its even and fine structure, Controsand Pacifica is ideal for detailed layouts, sand paths or decorative foreground areas. The natural colour tone adds depth to the layout and supports a harmonious overall effect in the aquarium.
Controsand Pacifica is safe for fish and invertebrates and can be used in both planted aquariums and shrimp tanks. The sand is also ideal as a decorative top layer over nutrient-rich substrates and allows structured layouts with different substrate zones.

As this is a natural product, colour and grain size may vary slightly.
Application
Before use, the sand should be rinsed briefly with water to remove fine transport particles. The sand can then be added directly to the aquarium and shaped as desired.
