Description

The Moby Lab Skimmer with Lily Pipe Set for Juwel combines effective surface skimming with elegant water flow management for planted aquariums and aquascapes. Surface oils and biofilm are reliably removed and broken down into fine particles, which can then be absorbed by the filtration system. At the same time, the integrated Lily Pipe ensures smooth and natural water circulation throughout the aquarium.

Thanks to the particularly low surface agitation, the CO₂ level in the water is largely preserved, making this set ideal for planted aquariums. The compact design integrates discreetly into the existing Juwel Bioflow or Eccoflow filter system and enables virtually silent operation. Due to its design, the skimmer floats on the current water level and automatically compensates for fluctuations of approximately 15 mm.

The water flow angle and flow rate can be individually adjusted to suit the requirements of the aquarium. The high-quality PETG material ensures excellent stability and durability during continuous underwater use. Unlike PLA, PETG permanently retains its shape and resistance. Every Moby Lab Skimmer is manufactured in Germany. The Lily Pipe is also available separately.

Application

The Moby Lab Skimmer is mounted directly onto the outlet pipe of the Juwel Bioflow filter or the Eccoflow pump. The Lily Pipe provides smooth water movement and supports efficient surface cleaning while maintaining gentle circulation within the aquarium.

Cleaning

For cleaning, the use of lukewarm water and a soft cloth or soft brush is recommended. Aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive materials should be avoided to prevent damage to the PETG surface.
