Description

This high-quality pressure regulator is used to reduce the cylinder pressure of approx. 54 bar to a working pressure of approx. 1 to 3 bar. By combining the working pressure gauge and the cylinder pressure gauge, the CO₂ supply can be adjusted very precisely, and you can immediately see when it is time to refill the cylinder. The integrated fine needle valve allows very precise adjustment of the CO₂ supply for the aquarium. The included bubble counter also enables visual monitoring of the CO₂ dosage and helps to fine-tune the supply accurately.

Please keep in mind that all components of the pressure regulator have been permanently bonded by the manufacturer. These can not be unscrewed without causing damage. If the needle valve is removed, the warranty will be void. The hose connection on the fine needle valve is an exception. Due to its fine thread, it is not bonded, so that in the event of a defect, it is not necessary to replace the entire fine needle valve, but only the hose connection.

Application

Please use the pressure regulator only after reading the operating instructions, which are linked above.

Ensure that the pressure regulator is only used with a CO₂ cylinder.
Turn the working pressure adjustment screw (operating instructions 4) anticlockwise.
Close the fine needle valve (operating instructions 5) by turning it clockwise. CAUTION: Tighten only slightly!
Position the pressure regulator so that the pressure gauges are facing upwards.
Attach and tighten the pressure regulator to the CO₂ cylinder using the union nut (operating instructions 7). The union nut must be tightened by hand only! Do not use tools!
Ensure that the seal is correctly seated and that the sealing surfaces are clean. If the seal is damaged or lost, please replace it.
Fill the supplied bubble counter with water and integrate it into the CO₂ system to monitor the bubble rate and precisely adjust the CO₂ supply.
