Description

'Ipica' is a medium-sized swordplant cultivar, getting about 30-40 cm tall in its underwater form. Its broadly lanceolate submerged foliage shows intensely red tones and a striking spot pattern, especially on the younger leaves.

Although it has only little demands, Echinodorus 'Ipica' grows best with macro- and micronutrient supply via the substrate. Good lighting enhances beautiful coloration. The water parameters are of minor importance, however CO₂ supply is very beneficial for its growth.

Echinodorus 'Ipica' is best placed in the midground to background as a solitary plant.
