Description

The EHEIM professionel 4 is a powerful external filter for larger aquariums, combining high filtration performance with a generous filter volume and reliable technology. The EHEIM professionel 4 series includes various models designed for different aquarium sizes and requirements. Depending on the model, filtration performance, filter volume and equipment vary.

The large prefilter, positioned directly beneath the pump head, traps coarse debris and can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the biological filter media. An integrated self-priming aid makes initial start-up and restarting the filter after maintenance quick and easy.

The safety hose adapter can only be released when the hose valves are closed, ensuring a secure connection between the pump head and the filter can together with the large safety locking clips. The wear-resistant ceramic shaft with ceramic bearings ensures smooth and quiet operation. The filter is suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums; the only exception is the EHEIM professionel 4 600T Thermofilter model.

Warning notes:

Only use indoors for aquarium applications.
Before placing your hand in the aquarium water, disconnect all electrical devices in the water from the mains. Always disconnect the filter from the mains before opening it.
The power cable of this device cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged, the device must no longer be used. Contact your specialist dealer or your EHEIM service centre.
These devices generate magnetic fields which may cause electronic or mechanical interference or damage. This also applies to pacemakers. Please refer to the manuals of such medical devices for the required safety distances.
Caution: During maintenance work, there is a risk of fingers being trapped due to strong magnetic forces.

General notes:

For your own safety, it is recommended to form a drip loop with the power cable to prevent water running along the cable from reaching the socket. If using a multi-socket extension, it must be positioned above the filter's mains connection.
Observe the precautionary measures for handling electrostatic discharge-sensitive components.
Do not clean the device – or any of its parts – in a dishwasher. Not dishwasher safe.
Do not dispose of this product with normal household waste. Take it to your local waste collection facility.
This product has been approved in accordance with the applicable national regulations and directives and complies with EU standards.
