Description
Dennerle Scaper's Soil Natural Mix is a high-quality active substrate with a natural appearance for freshwater aquariums. It lowers carbonate hardness and stabilises the pH value in the slightly acidic range of approximately pH 5,0 to 6,0, depending on the source water. This creates ideal conditions for planted aquariums, aquascaping, shrimp and many soft-water fish.
Based on selected clay minerals and volcanic soil (Andosol), the substrate supplies aquatic plants with essential minerals and trace elements. Its highly porous structure provides a large surface area for beneficial microorganisms and supports the biological stability of the aquarium. With a grain size of 1 – 4 mm and a natural blend of black, brown and reddish-brown granules, it is ideal for creating natural aquascapes and stable hardscape layouts. The double-fired granules remain structurally stable over time and can also be used as active filter media for water parameter regulation.
