Description
Makro Spezial NPK Soil supplies the aquarium with the most important macronutrients nitrogen, phosphate and potassium. The formulation is nitrogen-focused, phosphate-limited and enriched with potassium, and is therefore specifically tailored for use in aquariums with soil substrate. In this way, the fertiliser supports healthy, strong and compact plant growth without unnecessarily influencing the nutrient dynamics of active soils. Thanks to its liquid, ready-to-use form, the fertiliser can be easily dosed and adjusted to the individual needs of the aquarium.
Weekly water changes of 25 to 50% are recommended. The dosage can be increased or reduced depending on the aquarium. If nitrate and/or phosphate levels are already high, the fertiliser should not be used or should be dosed with caution. If nitrate or phosphate levels rise too much due to fertilisation, the dosage should be reduced.
Aqua Rebell NPK Soil is designed to supply planted aquariums with soil right from the start. The nitrogen-focused composition is particularly suitable for the long-term nutrient supply of an aquascape. The dosage recommendation serves as a useful starting point and can then be individually adjusted to the needs of the respective aquarium.
The fertiliser can also be used without a soil substrate if a demand-oriented macronutrient supply without unnecessary nutrient excess is desired. In this case, NPK Soil enables a rather phosphate-limited supply while still providing sufficient nitrogen. Under these conditions, aquatic plants grow compact, vital and usually somewhat slower than with an unlimited nutrient supply. For strong plant growth, the CO2 content can be set to around 20 mg/l.
In addition to the NPK fertiliser, a micronutrient fertiliser should always be used to supply iron and trace elements. We recommend using Mikro Spezial Flowgrow in combination with Makro Spezial NPK Soil.

The dosage recommendation is only a guideline. The dosage of the fertiliser can be reduced or increased depending on the aquarium to achieve optimal results.
