Description

Zeopure Mini from ARKA is a fine-grained zeolite filter medium for removing contaminants from aquarium water. This mineral of volcanic origin with a clinoptilolite content of about 90% has the property of adsorbing undesirable substances such as phosphate. Ammonium is also efficiently bound and thus removed from the nitrogen cycle of the tank before it is converted to nitrate and nitrite by nitrifying bacteria.
Zeopure Mini can be used in both fresh water and marine aquariums. Thanks to its fine grain size of 1,5 - 3 mm, Zeopure Mini is very well suited for use in fluidised bed or flow-through filters, where it offers useful bacteria an excellent colonisation surface.

Application

Over a period of 1 week use 100 ml of Zeopure Mini per 100 l of water. Afterwards, the dosage can be increased up to 200 ml per 100 l of water.

Notes

Before application, it is necessary to rinse Zeopure Mini thoroughly under running tap or osmosis water to remove abrasion.
Zeopure Mini is particularly suitable for use in a fluidised bed filter. Alternatively, it can be filled into the supplied filter bag and placed in a well flowed place in the filter or technical basin.
During regular filter changes, it is recommended to leave part of the old Zeopure Mini in the filter to maintain the beneficial bacteria colonised there.
Daily shaking prevents sediment and detritus deposits.
