Description

WIO PowerVol Base is an ideal substrate for easily creating slopes in the aquarium. The volcanic rock is ideal for stone and root wood bases and interlocks firmly. The porous volcanic rock also has the potential for optimum water flow, which favours an ideal oxygen supply and the colonisation of beneficial bacteria. This improves the water quality.

PowerVol Base is also rich in minerals and trace elements, which ensure that plants are supplied with the nutrients they need to thrive.

Application

The PowerVol base substrate should be evenly distributed in the aquarium with a depth of 2 - 4 cm.
If desired, a slope or volume can be created by pouring on additional PowerVol.
The hardscape can now be securely placed on the PowerVol, which forms a stable foundation. Once the design of the hardscape is complete, it is recommended to use a substrate as a topping, e.g. the Eonian Series or the Artist Series. Sand can also be used, or even soil.
The water should be poured carefully onto a hard surface to avoid stirring up the established soil. During the initial setup phase, the aquarium water may become cloudy. The turbidity should disappear within a few hours after switching on the filter.
