UNS Controsand Santa Fe is a natural aquarium gravel for freshwater aquariums with a medium grain size, specially developed for modern aquascapes. Inspired by natural riverbeds and streams, Santa Fe combines cool grey tones with warm, earthy nuances, creating a particularly natural and varied appearance in the aquarium.

The even grain size is ideal for structured substrate zones, paths or decorative accent areas. The mixture of cool and earthy colour tones creates a harmonious contrast that is particularly effective in biotope aquariums or in combination with roots and stones.

Controsand Santa Fe is safe for fish and invertebrates and can be used in both planted aquariums and shrimp tanks. The gravel is also ideal as a decorative top layer over nutrient-rich substrates and allows structured layouts with different substrate zones. For best results, it is recommended to rinse the gravel briefly before use.

Application

Before use, the gravel should be rinsed briefly with water to remove fine transport particles. The gravel can then be added directly to the aquarium and shaped as desired.
