Description
UNS Controsand Mojave is a natural aquarium sand for freshwater aquariums with an extra fine grain size, specially developed for the creation of modern aquascapes. The warm sand-coloured tone provides natural and calm contrasts in the aquarium and is ideal for sand areas, pathways or as a decorative foreground. Thanks to its fine and uniform grain size, precise structures and highly detailed layouts can be created.
Controsand Mojave is safe for fish and invertebrates and can be used both in planted aquariums and shrimp tanks. Especially when combined with dark stones or driftwood, it creates a natural and harmonious contrast that highlights hardscape and plants perfectly.
The fine sand is ideal as a decorative substrate or as a top layer over nutrient-rich base substrates. This allows structured layouts with different substrate zones to be created. For best results, it is recommended to briefly rinse the sand before use.

As this is a natural product, colour and grain size may vary slightly.
Application
Before use, the sand should be briefly rinsed with water to remove fine transport particles. Afterwards, the sand can be placed directly into the aquarium and shaped as desired.
