Description

The EasyCrystal Filter 250 by Tetra is a compact internal filter designed for the effective purification of freshwater aquariums with a volume between 15 and 40 litres. It combines mechanical and biological filtration within a small housing. The dual-layer fleece filter pads reliably remove suspended particles: the white side captures coarse debris, while the green layer retains finer residues.

For biological filtration, the system includes an integrated filter sponge and bio-filter balls that offer a large surface area for beneficial microorganisms. These ensure an efficient biological breakdown of waste materials. In addition, the filter cartridge contains activated carbon to eliminate discolouration and odours in the water.

A high water flow rate of up to 250 litres per hour is generated by a quiet magnetic impeller. The filter is installed inside the aquarium using strong suction cups, allowing flexible positioning. Cleaning the EasyCrystal Filter is straightforward: the cartridge is replaced every four weeks, with no need to rinse the filter media.

Matching replacement cartridges are available separately, such as the Tetra EasyCrystal FilterPack 250/300 and the Tetra EasyCrystal FilterPack A250/300 with AlgoStop Depot for additional algae prevention.
