Description
Discus Trace from Seachem provides a wide range of trace elements that are beneficial for fish health and growth. Unlike land animals, fish get nutrients from both their food and the environment. Trace elements are normally depleted through depletion, oxidation and precipitation, so it is important to restore them regularly.
Aquarium salt is often used to add salts back to the aquarium water. Some fish tolerate this use of salt, but others less so. Discus fish do not tolerate increased sodium levels in the water. Discus Trace is a rounded trace mineral that contains no sodium and is used to replenish trace and ultra trace minerals. This creates optimal conditions for the growth and health of the fish.
