Description

The Qanvee Fixed Scraper Q1 is a compact algae scraper designed for thorough cleaning of aquarium glass. Its fixed blade head allows for the precise removal of stubborn algae from the front, side and rear panes of the aquarium.

The two-piece aluminium handle has an overall length of 55 cm, making it suitable for cleaning even deeper areas of the aquarium. The durable plastic blade head is equipped with a 64 mm wide blade. A protective cover safely shields the blade when not in use. The algae scraper is suitable for use in both freshwater and marine aquariums.

Note

Do not use on acrylic or plastic aquariums unless the aquarium manufacturer explicitly approves the use of metal blades. Before cleaning, remove any loose sand or gravel particles from the aquarium glass to prevent scratches.

Application

Carefully remove the protective cover from the blade and place the fixed blade head flat against the aquarium glass. Move the algae scraper across the glass in a controlled manner without applying excessive force. After use, clean and dry the blade thoroughly before replacing the protective cover.

Cleaning

Clean the Qanvee Fixed Scraper Q1 after each use to remove residues and help prevent corrosion of the blade.

Rinse the algae scraper and blade with clean water.
Carefully remove any remaining debris.

Cover the dry blade with the protective cover for safe storage.
