Description
The ME Waterbuddy – Auto Top-Off Nano reliably ensures that the water level in the aquarium remains constant at all times, without the need for electricity or electronics. The system works purely on a physical basis and automatically compensates for evaporation losses. As a result, the water quality remains stable and sensitive aquarium inhabitants are protected from stress caused by fluctuating water parameters.
The refill device is attached to the edge of the aquarium and combined with a standard PET bottle (0,5–1,5 l). When the water level falls below the set level, air enters the bottle, allowing water to flow into the aquarium. The inflow stops automatically once the desired level is reached. The Waterbuddy is an ideal solution for keeping the water level stable in a convenient and reliable way, especially in small nano aquariums or during absences.
With its compact design and robust construction, the ME Waterbuddy is maintenance-free, durable and easy to install. Suitable for glass thicknesses from 3 to 10 mm, the system works reliably on all common aquariums. Once set up, it maintains a constant water level continuously.

Application
- The holder is attached to the edge of the aquarium. Adapter inserts can be used if necessary to adapt the holder to different glass thicknesses.
- A standard PET bottle is filled with fresh aquarium water and screwed upside down into the adapter.
- The included silicone tube is cut into two pieces. The short tube acts as a control line and determines the desired water level. The longer tube functions as the refill line.
- Both tubes are connected to the designated ports and fully submerged in the water.
- The water level is regulated automatically. When the level falls below the set point, water flows into the aquarium. The flow stops when the target level is reached.
