Description
The Me CO2 Control Night is a precise CO2 control unit for aquariums that combines a solenoid valve with an integrated bubble counter. It enables accurate control and automatic regulation of CO2 supply via a timer or pH controller, thereby promoting plant growth and stabilising water parameters. The device is intended exclusively for use in aquatics and is installed directly into the existing CO2 supply line.
The solenoid valve opens when power is supplied and automatically closes when the power is interrupted. This allows the CO2 supply to be stopped automatically during the night or dark phase, conserving energy and CO2 while preventing over-saturation when photosynthesis ceases. The integrated bubble counter with backflow protection allows for easy monitoring of the dosage, while the robust construction ensures a secure and leak-proof connection. The device operates at 12 V DC using the supplied power adapter and is rated for pressures up to 6 bar.

Application
- Before initial operation, fill the integrated bubble counter halfway with water through the side opening. This allows for visual monitoring of the CO2 flow rate during operation.
- The solenoid valve is then installed directly into the CO2 hose line (4/6 mm) using the integrated push-fit connections. The arrow marked on the housing indicates the direction of gas flow and must point towards the aquarium.
- After installation, the device is connected via the supplied power adapter to a timer or pH controller, allowing automatic control of the CO2 supply.
- When power is supplied, the solenoid valve opens and releases the CO2 flow. When the power supply is interrupted, the valve closes automatically, stopping the CO2 flow completely.
- The water level in the bubble counter should be checked regularly and topped up if necessary to ensure consistent and clearly visible bubble formation.
- The device must only be operated outside the aquarium in a dry environment. Vertical installation with the hose connections facing upwards is recommended to prevent condensation.
