Description
The Juwel SmartFeed 2.0 is the premium version of automatic feeding in aquariums because it offers many ways of individualisation. Original Juwel aquariums are already equipped for the easy assembly of this automatic feeder. Thanks to the mounting support, fitting the feeder onto the tank is done in no time and the feeder is ready for use immediately. The automatic feeder is powered by either batteries or external micro-USB plug. As soon as cable and adapter (not included in the scope of delivery) are attached, the power consumption is directed from the external source. In case of a sudden and unexpected power shortage, the feeder is automatically driven by the batteries. This ensures an extra grade of safety for feeding fish during holidays.
In order to choose the optimal food for the aquarium inhabitants, the feed screw conveyor is changable. There is a fine (white) conveyor for granulate and a coarse (black) conveyor for flakes.
The SmartFeed 2.0 is programmable for up to 3 feeding cycles a day, which can be set in intervalls of 24/48/72 h individually. Moreover, each portion can be programmed in size seperately. 8 dose stages are available to choose from. For a prolonged automatic feeding, the feed chamber of 110 ml can be extended with another 110 ml chamber. The feeding of aquarium inhabitants is, therefore, ensured for a nice holiday without worries about them.
