Description

JBL ProFlora P Macroelements is a phosphorus fertiliser for targeted supplementation in aquascaping aquariums. The fertiliser supplies aquatic plants with phosphorus in the form of water-soluble phosphates and thus supports a stable energy metabolism and the development of plant cell structures. In addition, plant-available potassium is added, which optimally supplements the nutrient requirements and promotes growth.

The application depends on the light intensity in the aquarium: 2 ml per 100 litres are recommended in high light tanks, 1 ml per 100 litres for lower light levels. As the phosphate content in tap water can fluctuate greatly and is often too low in planted aquaria, it is advisable to check with the JBL PO4 sensitive test before dosing. The use of JBL ProFlora P Macroelements specifically prevents a phosphorus deficiency without the risk of an excess as in fish-rich tanks. This effectively promotes plant growth and ensures a balanced nutrient ratio in the aquarium.

Application

Dosage per 100 Liter
Well lit tank (1 Watt per Liter) + CO₂	2 ml daily
Without CO₂	2 ml per week

The normal dosage is 2 ml / 100 l of water for a very well-lit tank with >= 1 W / l of illumination and 1 ml/100 l of water for a tank that is not as well lit. The supply of carbon dioxide must also be considered.

The above table shows recommended fertiliser concentrations according to the general conditions of the aquarium.

As actual precise consumption cannot be predicted, we recommend regularly checking the phosphate level with the JBL PO4 Test Set sensitive, especially prior to each follow-up dose.

K	0,17 mg/l
