Description

JBL ProScape Mount Aso Soil - Brown is a natural, fertile volcanic substrate from Mount Aso in Japan for planted aquariums and aquascapes. Unlike other soils, the substrate is natural and not enriched with additional nutrients. It filters the water, provides ideal support for plants and promotes tropical-like, slightly acidic water conditions.

Excess nutrients are bound and become available to the plants again when needed. Through the adsorption of coloring substances and particles that cause cloudiness, JBL ProScape Mount Aso Soil helps maintain clear aquarium water. The structured grain ensures good water circulation through the substrate and provides a large surface area for plant roots and pollutant-degrading bacteria. Thanks to its grain structure without sharp edges, the substrate is also suitable for shrimp and burrowing fish.

Application

Briefly rinse the substrate with tap water and then add it to the aquarium. JBL ProScape Mount Aso Soil can be combined with JBL ProScape Volcano Powder 250 g and substrate heating systems.
