Dieser bemerkenswerte Wassernabel aus Australien ist in Europa bisher unbekannt gewesen. Er hat nur etwa halb so große Blätter wie die bisher handelsübliche Hydrocotyle tripartita.
So wie der normale Dreiteilige Wassernabel wächst Hydrocotyle tripartita "Mini" am besten bei recht viel Licht und guter CO2- und Nährstoffversorgung.
Dieser Wassernabel ist als kleinblättriges Pendant zu normaler Hydrocotyle tripartita sehr interessant für das Aquascaping, nicht zuletzt für Nano-Aquarien.
