Description
Artemix from Hobby is an ideal mixture of Artemia salt with traces of plankton and eggs for self hatching with a very high hatching rate. Artemia hatch between 24 - 36 hours and eat plankton traces in their first days.
At room temperature (ca. 20°C) use additionaly an air pump or the Artemia Hatching Bowl from Hobb.y You need approx. 16 g Artemix per 500 ml water.

Note
Any iodine-free salt is suitable for hatching Artemia but in special Artemia salts traces of plankton are contained on which the nauplii can feed. The possible death of Artermia nauplii can be due to several reasons: the pollution of the water used, the quality of the feed given and the hygiene of the breeding and hatchery.
