BioMax from Fluval is a biological filter medium, for the Fluval U-Series . BioMax provides an optimal surface for the colonisation of nitrifying microorganisms. The unique biobody have a complex pore system in which beneficial bacteria can thrive. Fluval BioMax also reduces and controls ammonia and nitrate. The filter media is suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums.
