Description

The EHEIM pHcontrol+e pH sensor is a retrofit element for precise monitoring of the pH value in aquariums. It continuously measures the pH value and is supplied with calibration fluid. In combination with the EHEIM pHcontrol+e, the sensor automatically regulates the CO₂ supply to keep the pH value in the desired range (pH 6 to pH 8).

The EHEIM pHcontrol+e pH sensor has a high measuring accuracy with a range of pH 0 to pH 14 and is designed for use with the EHEIM pHcontrol+e. The automatic calibration and regular water test reminders of the EHEIM pHcontrol+e ensure reliable function.

Note

The electrode is a wearing part. Depending on the application, the interval for a required sensor replacement can range from a few weeks to several months (up to a maximum of 2 years).

Warning notes:

Do not allow the packaging and small parts to come into the hands of children or persons unaware of their actions – risk of suffocation! Keep away from animals.
This device may only be used by children from 8 years of age and by persons with reduced capabilities or lack of experience if supervised or instructed and if they understand the dangers. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance only under supervision.
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced capabilities or lack of experience unless supervised or instructed. Children must always be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.
The storage solution of the pH sensor and the calibration liquid must not be accessible to children or unsupervised persons.
This product contains a button cell battery that cannot be replaced by the user and must be disposed of properly.

General notes:

Repairs may only be carried out by an EHEIM service centre.
Use only original spare parts and accessories for the device.
This device operates without a ground connection.
The electrical data of the power supply must match the mains supply (see nameplate, packaging or manual).

Handling notes:

Before use, visually inspect the device, especially the cable, power supply, and plug for damage.
Do not use the device if it is damaged or not functioning correctly.
Never use the device with a damaged power supply. If the cable is damaged, the power supply must be disposed of.
Protect the power cable from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
Do not carry the device by its connection cables.
Only perform tasks described in the manual. Do not modify the device.
Always disconnect all aquarium devices from the mains when not in use or before cleaning and maintenance.
In the event of a water leak or if the RCD trips, immediately disconnect all devices from the mains.
Protect socket and power supply from moisture. Form a drip loop with the cable to prevent water entering the socket.
Use only the power supply provided with the device. In case of replacement, only the original EHEIM power supply must be used.
It is recommended to use a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA.
