Description

The EHEIM classicVARIO+e is the intelligent advancement of the proven classic filter with wireless control and the unique BLDC pump, suitable as an external filter for aquariums up to 250 litres. It combines three outstanding features: the "+e version" of the million-times-proven classic filter, the innovation of wireless electronic control via smartphone, tablet or PC/Mac, and the particularly quiet and low-vibration BLDC pump. This means high quality, top-notch components, and carefully tuned functions. The pump output can be continuously adjusted from 200 - 500 l/h in various modes.

When connected with devices from the EHEIM Digital family, the functions are accordingly coordinated. For instance, the pump output reduces during feeding with the autofeeder+. When coupled with the LEDcontrol+e, the performance adapts to the day/night rhythm. Additionally, the classicVARIO+e calculates when the next cleaning is due, displays this, and if necessary, sends an email reminder.

The digital advancement of the proven, reliable classic external filter generation impresses with its integrated Wi-Fi function and wireless control via smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac. The pump performance can be continuously regulated and offers various functions such as manual and pulse mode. Intelligent power regulation allows for very low power consumption (1,7-9,8 W).

The permanently elastic silicone seal on the pump head ensures easy and secure closing after cleaning. The filter can be equipped with filter pads and/or loose filter media. The highly effective BLDC pump (brushless DC motor) guarantees quiet, low-vibration operation and allows for fine performance gradation. Additionally, the package includes a spray bar, intake pipe, hose, and installation accessories. The EHEIM classicVARIO+e is suitable for both freshwater and marine water.

Do not use the device if it is damaged or not functioning properly.
Never use the device with a damaged power cable or power supply.
Repairs must be carried out exclusively by an EHEIM service centre.
Do not carry the device by the power cable. Always unplug by pulling the plug, not the cable or device.

General notes:

The power cable cannot be replaced. If damaged, the device must be disposed of.
Protect the power cable from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
Use only original spare parts and accessories.
The electrical specifications of the device must match the power supply.

Handling notes:

Perform a visual inspection before use, especially check the power cable and plug.
Only carry out tasks described in the manual.
Do not make technical modifications to the device.
The device should be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA.
Always disconnect all aquarium devices from the power supply before installation, removal, cleaning, or maintenance.
Protect plug socket and power plug from moisture. Form a drip loop with the power cable to prevent water from running along the cable into the socket and causing a short circuit.
