Description

The EHEIM aquaball is a modular internal filter designed for freshwater aquariums up to 180 litres. Its fully adjustable ball head allows the water outlet to be directed exactly where needed, making the filter highly adaptable to a wide range of aquarium layouts.

The flow rate can be adjusted using the integrated flow control. The supplied Power Diffuser allows additional air to be introduced into the water, helping to increase oxygen levels in the aquarium.

Thanks to its modular design, the filter volume can be expanded to suit individual requirements. The filter modules can be easily removed and reattached using the Easy-Click locking system and can be filled with different filter media as required. The filter is supplied with matching filter cartridges and is ready for immediate use.

Warning notes:

Do not allow the device packaging or small parts to fall into the hands of children or persons who are not aware of their actions, as this may present hazards (risk of suffocation!). Keep away from animals.
Before use, carry out a visual inspection to ensure that the device, especially the power cable and plug, are undamaged.
Do not use the device if it is not functioning properly or if it is damaged.
Never use the device with a damaged power cable or power supply unit.
The power cable of this device cannot be replaced. If the power cable is damaged, the device must be disposed of.
Repairs may only be carried out by an authorised EHEIM service centre.
Never make technical modifications to the device.
The device should be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current of no more than 30 mA. If you have any questions or problems, consult a qualified electrician.
Always disconnect all devices in the aquarium from the mains when they are not in use, before installing or removing parts, and before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work.
Protect the socket and mains plug from moisture. It is recommended to form a drip loop with the power cable to prevent water running along the cable from reaching the socket and causing a short circuit.
The electrical specifications of the device must match those of the mains supply. You can find this information on the rating plate, the packaging or in the instruction manual.

General notes:

Only use original spare parts and accessories intended for this device.
Only carry out work that is described in the instruction manual.
Do not carry the device by the power cable and always disconnect it from the mains by pulling the plug, never the cable or the device.
Protect the power cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
