Description
The EHEIM filter mats provide reliable mechanical and biological filtration in compatible EHEIM external filters. The porous material is evenly penetrated by the water flow and effectively retains both coarse and fine dirt particles.
Thanks to the structured surface of the special foam material, the filter mats offer ideal conditions for the colonisation of beneficial cleaning bacteria. This supports the biological breakdown of pollutants in the aquarium and promotes stable water quality.
The filter mats are reusable multiple times and especially durable. For cleaning, they should only be rinsed with aquarium water and gently squeezed out in order to preserve the important bacterial cultures.
