Description
Shrimp King Color is a specially developed supplementary food for dwarf shrimps that specifically supports natural colour development. Many shrimp species, such as Crystal Red, Red Fire, Sakura or Yellow Fire, owe their intense colouration to the carotenoids they contain. As shrimps cannot produce these pigments themselves, regular intake through their diet is essential. With Shrimp King Color, the animals develop strong, vivid colours and high-contrast markings.
The high-quality recipe contains a wide variety of natural carotenoid sources, such as hibiscus flowers, rose hips, sweet peppers, pumpkin, tomatoes and flower pollen. This mixture is supplemented with Haematococcus algae, which are rich in astaxanthin – a particularly effective natural pigment. This principle is also known from nature: flamingos only retain their pink colour through a carotenoid-rich diet. Shrimps likewise benefit from a targeted supply for intense colour development.
The sinking sticks are dimensionally stable, easy to ingest and ensure clean feeding without unnecessarily polluting the water. Shrimp King Color is suitable for all colourful Caridina and Neocaridina species. Red, orange and yellow shrimps benefit in particular, but blue and black species also develop more intense colouration through the additional supply.
