Description
Dennerle Plant System E15 is an iron fertiliser in tablet form for aquatic plants.
Plant System E15 supplies all aquarium plants with immediately effective, 2-valent nutrient iron and thus ensures fresh, splendid greenery. Symptoms of deficiency such as yellow, glassy leaves are largely cured, young leaves sprout a rich green again.
Iron is of central importance for all aquarium plants.
It is needed for the formation of the vital leaf green, because without leaf green the plant cannot carry out photosynthesis.
Iron deficiency is immediately apparent in the young leaves, which appear pale and yellowish (iron chlorosis).
Important to know: Plants can only absorb so-called bivalent iron. Unfortunately, this is not stable in the aquarium, but is quickly oxidised and thus converted into ineffective trivalent, "brown" iron.
Since tap water contains practically no iron, aquarium plants are dependent on regular iron fertilisation. Special protective shells - so-called chelates - protect the E15 iron effectively and keep it available to plants in the aquarium for a long time (depot effect). E15 is phosphate and nitrate-free and therefore does not promote algae growth. Special note: Commercial iron tests often cannot detect chelated iron. These tests then show inadequate results, although there is actually enough iron in the aquarium water.
For optimal use, Dennerele recommends using Plant System V30 (complete fertiliser)
und Plant System S7 (vital substances).
The fertiliser tablets are offered in 20, 40 and 100 pieces.

Anwendung
1 tablet per 100 l adds 0,27 mg/l iron to the aquarium water.
Regular use results in an iron content in the optimal range of 0,05 - 0,2 mg/l.
Simply add the tablets to the aquarium, preferably after a partial water change. They dissolve slowly within a few days.
